Starting
of the leoistic year with the blessing of the Triple Gem is a practice that
Polgasowita Leos followed diligently throughout the years. This year was no
different and the elected board along with the club members and visiting Leos
of our very own district joint hands on the 14th of July to begin
the new leiostic year 2019-2020 in an auspicious manner.
With the
offering of flowers and gilanpasa flowed by the lighting of lamps and incense
we all gathered to worship and gain blessings by the thero with the chanting of
pirith. The very virtues of what we do in the materialistic world as Buddhists
is done with the aim of gaining true understanding and eternal peace of mind.
The Leo club of Polgasowita aims at working for the betterment of society and
believe that this is the perfect start to a year filled with charitable deeds.
